Basketball Recap: Airline Comes Up Short

Airline has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 59-44 fall against the Natchitoches Central Chiefs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 63-49 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Airline's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Natchitoches Central, their win bumped their record up to 24-4.

Airline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Natchitoches Central, they have already played their next contest, a 67-38 victory against Calvin on the 15th.
