Baseball Game Preview: Cy-Fair Bobcats vs. Memorial Mustangs

For the second straight game, Cy-Fair will face off against Memorial. Cy-Fair will welcome Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Cy-Fair 2.8, Memorial 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Cy-Fair's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Memorial hitters got past them. Cy-Fair came up short against Memorial on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The win (which was Memorial's 12th in a row) raised their record to 16-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Cy-Fair, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-4-1.
