Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pana). They put the hurt on the Hillsboro Hiltoppers with a sharp 16-3 victory on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.
Brylan Miller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Miller was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
