Basketball Recap: Clinton-Massie Takes a Loss

Clinton-Massie lost against Monroe back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clinton-Massie Falcons took a 52-37 bruising from the Monroe Hornets. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Clinton-Massie lost, don't look at Avden Faucett. Despite the final result, he posted nine points. Faucett is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zander Mills, who put up ten points.

Clinton-Massie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Monroe, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton-Massie will square off against Wilmington at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Clinton-Massie is facing Wilmington at the right time seeing as Wilmington is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Monroe, they will take on Ross at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
