Softball Preview: Sherman Tide vs. Wahama White Falcons
For the second straight game, Sherman will face off against Wahama. The Tide will host the White Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Sherman fell victim to Wahama and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the White Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tide have suffered since April 29th.
For Wahama's part, Elissa Hoffman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Hoffman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Payton Staats and Audrey Reynolds did most of the damage at the plate: Staats went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Reynolds went 3-for-4 with one triple and one run.
