Softball Recap: New Oxford Gets the Win

New Oxford posted their closest win since April 3rd on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Penn Manor Comets 4-3.

Miranda Leatherman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits.

At the plate, New Oxford's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Horick, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

New Oxford's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Penn Manor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

New Oxford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Penn Manor, they will host Chambersburg at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
