Softball Recap: Otto-Eldred Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

While Otto-Eldred's win against Port Allegany wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Terrors had just enough and edged out the Gators 8-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-1 back in April.

The victory (which was Otto-Eldred's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Port Allegany, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Otto-Eldred will head out to square off against Bolivar-Richburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port Allegany, they will venture away from home to challenge Cameron County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
