Jefferson extended their losing streak  to five  on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-7. They took  a  21-6 bruising from the Estes Park Bobcats. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.

 Even if they lost, Jefferson's defense still kept up the pressure with seven sacks. It was truly a group effort as  Donovan Lucero,  James Hitzeman,  and  Enzo Hernandez picked up two apiece. Hernandez also set a new season-high mark in  total tackles with 25. Jefferson got some further help from  Fredrick West: he made 17 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Estes Park's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Leading Estes Park to victory were  Hadlee Rasmussen and  Colby O'Brien.  Rasmussen rushed for 129 yards and two  scores on only 15 carries, while  O'Brien rushed for 90 yards and one  touchdown.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to  take on  their familiar foe Highland  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 24th. Meanwhile, Estes Park will  square off against  rival Manual  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 24th.
