 Mills had to endure  a  five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Terra Nova Tigers  on Tuesday and snuck past  5-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mills also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
  Nate Lafon made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits. Lafon has been consistent recently: he hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Lafon was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Aiden Brown was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 On Terra Nova's side,  Ronin Sargent was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 4-for-4.
 Mills' victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Terra Nova, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record  this season.
 Mills will have a chance to go back-to-back against Terra Nova: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
