Baseball Recap: Highline Takes a Loss

Highline's last matchup with Cedarcrest could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Pirates lost 13-4 to the Red Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Highline and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Cedarcrest, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Red Wolves beat Highline by a score of 14-2 later that day.
