            Softball Recap: Nevada Union Miners vs. Placer Hillmen        
        
		
        
        
            Nevada Union was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Placer Hillmen, falling  12-1. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hillmen apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in May of 2024.
Nevada Union's record now sits at 1-8-1. As for Placer, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nevada Union will square off against Twelve Bridges at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Nevada Union's pitchers better be ready for this one: Twelve Bridges has averaged an impressive 6.2  runs per game this season. As for Placer, they will face off against Foresthill at 4:10  p.m.  on Wednesday.
