Eustis had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They snuck past the Atlantic Sharks with a 56-50 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won six games in a row.

Eustis got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lomar Sparrow out in front who posted 13 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Sparrow has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cornelius Hines, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.

Eustis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Eustis' win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Atlantic, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-8.

Eustis will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ribault on March 4th. One thing working in Ribault's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests. Atlantic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
