Brownsburg never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lawrence North on Monday. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 10-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won eight matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Avery Toole looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bailey Paddock, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Neal, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Brownsburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lawrence North only posted an OBP of .345.
