Basketball Recap: Logan Lange's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Logansport over Benton Central

If Logansport was riding high fresh off their 78-55 takedown of Frankfort last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Logansport Berries took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benton Central Bison. The loss continues a trend for the Berries in their matchups with the Bison: they've now lost five in a row.

Logansport lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Logan Lange, who posted 15 points in addition to five assists and four steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Anthony Delvalle, who went 5-for-11 en route to 20 points and five boards.

Logansport's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Benton Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.

As of now, neither Logansport nor Benton Central have any future games scheduled.
