Pembroke Pines Charter is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Cypress Bay just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Lightning 6-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Jaguars were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Piper ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They managed a 12-6 win over Monarch. The victory continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Piper's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Pembroke Pines Charter came up short against Piper when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 24-18.
