Pocomoke found their leader in underclassman Jamir Roberts, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten assists, and ten steals. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Ames, who scored 20 points along with seven steals.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Colonel Richardson on the road against St. Michaels on Thursday as the squad secured a 82-46 win. That looming 82-46 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Colonel Richardson yet this season.
Pocomoke's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Colonel Richardson, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Everything came up roses for Pocomoke against Colonel Richardson when the teams last played back in December of 2014 as the squad secured a 82-39 win. With Pocomoke ahead 43-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
