Baseball Recap: Santa Ana Valley Takes a Loss

Santa Ana Valley lost against Santiago last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons lost 23-2 to the Cavaliers. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Santa Ana Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Santiago, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

Looking ahead, Santa Ana Valley will face off against Rolling Hills Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season. As for Santiago, they will take on Saddleback at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
