Carver scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 83-72 to the New Faith Christian Academy Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-54 back in January.

Jacory Pickett and Adonis Wimbush certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Pickett went 8-for-13 en route to 31 points, while Wimbush dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 36.1% of Carver's points, marking the third time in a row Wimbush has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaden Rogers, who had five points and seven boards.

It was another big night for Ashtain Preston, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 23 points and four steals for New Faith Christian Academy. That's the most steals Preston has posted since back in December of 2024. Omar Thiam was another key player, putting up 15 points and three steals.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for New Faith Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-13 record this season.

Carver has already played their next match, a 68-43 defeat against Lovett on the 11th. New Faith Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
