Baseball Recap: Westminster Catawba Christian Triumphs

Westminster Catawba Christian won the last time they faced Hickory Christian Academy and things went their way on Friday too. Westminster Catawba Christian came out on top against Hickory Christian Academy by a score of 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

James Reinhardt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Reinhardt was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Brayden Giesler was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Brooks Minarik was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

The win got Westminster Catawba Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Hickory Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2.
