Volleyball Recap: King's Christian Academy Takes a Loss

King's Christian Academy lost against Lanham Christian back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

King's Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 13-25, 25-21, 15-6.

King's Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lanham Christian, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Lanham Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Southern Maryland Christian Academy on the 14th. Hopefully King's Christian Academy paid attention to the Lions' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
