Volleyball Recap: Redington Takes a Loss

Redington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Barrow Whalers. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Whalers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss on Thursday.

Redington was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Barrow work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 26-24.

Redington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Barrow, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

While Redington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
