Softball Recap: Master's Academy Comes Up Short

If Master's Academy was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Lyman last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 17-1 to the Geneva Knights on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.

Master's Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Geneva, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Master's Academy will venture away from home to square off against Tavares at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Geneva, they will head out to face off against Winter Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
