Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Gavin Smith: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made one tackle (1.0 for loss) as Benedictine took down Westminster 56-7. We hope Smith's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Smith and Benedictine will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ware County at 7:30 p.m. Smith had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in October of 2024 38-14.
