Clifton barely beat Robinson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cubs put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Cubs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-23.

Clifton's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Robinson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, Clifton will be taking part in a tournament against Bishop Amat at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Cubs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Robinson, they will square off against Belton at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
