Soccer Game Preview: South-Doyle vs. Hume-Fogg

The South-Doyle Cherokees will head out on the road to face off against the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South-Doyle will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

South-Doyle's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Central Magnet. That's two games straight that South-Doyle have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, while the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was Hume-Fogg who was credited with the win on Saturday. The Blue Knights got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Chester County's four.

Hume-Fogg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-4 record this season. As for South-Doyle, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1-3.
