Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lebanon

Lebanon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 47-39 win over the Joplin Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.

Lebanon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lilly Bradbury, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance also gave Bradbury a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Another player making a difference was Morgan Durbin, who earned 12 points.

Lebanon's record is now 9-11. As for Joplin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will take on Ozark at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Joplin, they will head out to face off against Republic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
