Basketball Game Preview: LaCrosse Leopards vs. Pratt Greenbacks

LaCrosse hasn't had much luck against Pratt recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Leopards will face off against the Greenbacks. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, LaCrosse lost to Ellsworth on the road by a 49-32 margin. While losing is never fun, the Leopards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Bearcats are ranked 41st).

Meanwhile, Pratt played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 54-33 to Ellinwood.

LaCrosse's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Pratt, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1.

LaCrosse suffered a grim 55-33 defeat to Pratt in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. Can the Leopards avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
