Football Recap: Crystal City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Duchesne last Friday, Crystal City came back down to earth. The Hornets lost 52-30 to the Scotland County Tigers on Friday. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Crystal City's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Scotland County, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Crystal City will take on Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scotland County, they will be playing at home against Van-Far at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.38 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
