If Garinger wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played South Mecklenburg, they should've done a better job of containing Sophia Woolman. The Sabres were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats on Tuesday thanks in part to Woolman, who had 19 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-6.

South Mecklenburg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Garinger, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.
