Greenbrier East has gone a perfect 10-0 against Princeton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Spartans will head out to face off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Greenbrier East is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Greenbrier East made easy work of Oak Hill and carried off a 12-4 victory. Considering the Spartans have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Haylee Heaster was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Reagan Cline was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Princeton duked it out with PikeView on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 25th.

Hayden Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

Greenbrier East is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Princeton, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-15.

Greenbrier East beat Princeton 4-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
