Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central fell victim to Youngker and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Youngker Roughriders. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly two goals.

Central's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Youngker, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Higley on the 10th. As for Youngker, they will venture away from home to square off against Verrado at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. Verrado's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
