Fuchs Mizrachi had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over the Westside Christian Academy Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mayhem also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Calvin Cottenden, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Cottenden is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Trent Douglass was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Fuchs Mizrachi's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Westside Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-4.

Fuchs Mizrachi will look to defend their home court on Thursday against HEARTS for Jesus Christ at 6:45 p.m. HEARTS for Jesus Christ will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Fuchs Mizrachi surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westside Christian Academy, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Westside Christian Academy Eagles challenge the Reimer Road Baptist Christian Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
