Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask NEN). Everything went their way against the North Bend Central Tigers on Thursday as NEN made off with a 15-4 victory. NEN might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Zoey Duncan, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Scholting, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, NEN kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're hit total in three consecutive contests.

NEN's record now sits at 16-11. As for North Bend Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
