Softball Recap: Oley Valley Lynx vs. York Suburban Trojans

On Wednesday, it was close, but the Oley Valley Lynx sidestepped the York Suburban Trojans for an 8-6 win. That's two games straight that the Lynx have won by exactly two runs.

Taylor Schlegel was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off nine hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Cheyenne Walsh was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
