Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sioux Valley). They claimed a resounding 72-27 win over the Deuel Cardinals. The Cossacks have beaten the Cardinals the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cardinals has come to flipping the script.

Sioux Valley's record now sits at 14-5. As for Deuel, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sioux Valley will square off against Parker at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sioux Valley is facing Parker at the right time seeing as Parker is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Deuel, they will challenge Hamlin on Thursday. Hamlin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Deuel likes a good challenge.
