Charlotte Latin had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Cox Mill Chargers by a score of 5-2.

Cooper Holland looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Nick Smith was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Jack Bancroft was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Charlotte Latin's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Cox Mill, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Charlotte Latin will challenge Charlotte Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Hawks have won six straight at home, while the Knights won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Cox Mill, they will square off against South Iredell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
