If Steele wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Midview, they should've done a better job of containing Leah DiFranco. The Middies walked away with a 52-41 win over the Comets on Wednesday for which the team can thank DiFranco, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine steals. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played.

Midview's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Steele, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Midview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-29 defeat against Avon Lake on the 13th. As for Steele, they have also already played their next contest, a 64-25 loss against Berea-Midpark on the 12th.
