Moore County and Coalfield squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Moore County had to settle for second. They fell 54-41 to the Coalfield Yellow Jackets. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Moore County's loss dropped their record down to 24-4. As for Coalfield, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 32-5.

Moore County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coalfield, they will take on Van Buren County on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Van Buren County has won five straight at home, while Coalfield won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
