Volleyball Recap: New Hope Takes a Loss

New Hope lost against Brewer back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mackenzie Martin paced New Hope's offense, picking up seven kills. Martin got some help from Stella Reed and her nine assists.

New Hope's loss dropped their record down to 8-26. As for Brewer, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-14 record this season.

New Hope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Oxford on the 11th. As for Brewer, they will face off against East Limestone at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
