Volleyball Recap: James Logan Takes a Loss

James Logan entered their contest against JSerra Catholic on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Colts fell 2-0 to the Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

While James Logan was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11.

McKenzie Anderson paced James Logan's offense, picking up nine kills. Anderson got some help from Leann Jung and her seven assists.

James Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for JSerra Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

James Logan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Owyhee on the 27th. As for JSerra Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Marymount on the 27th.
