Baseball Recap: Elkhart Comes Up Short

Elkhart fell victim to Fairfield and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Fairfield Eagles, falling 15-0. The Elks haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Elkhart's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Fairfield, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Coming up, Elkhart will challenge Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairfield, they will be playing at home against Groesbeck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
