Soccer Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Garner Titans. Southeast Raleigh were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Garner apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for South Garner, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-11-1.

Southeast Raleigh has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Cleveland on the 7th. As for South Garner, they will challenge Smithfield-Selma at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
