Volleyball Recap: Drew Comes Up Short

If Drew was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Jewish Community last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons fell just short of The Bay School Breakers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Breakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Drew wouldn't go down easily and took The Bay School into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 15-point loss. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-0.

Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for The Bay School, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Drew will square off against rival San Francisco Waldorf at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, The Bay School is set to take on their familiar foe Gateway at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
