Softball Recap: Augusta Southeastern Comes Up Short

Augusta Southeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 19-2 to the Seymour Indians. If the Suns were looking for revenge after losing 10-7 to the Indians when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Augusta Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Seymour, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.

Coincidentally, Augusta Southeastern and Seymour will both be playing Barry Western the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Suns will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
