Horseshoe Bend and Woodland are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Generals will face off against the Bobcats at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Horseshoe Bend is looking for their season's first victory.

Horseshoe Bend's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against LaFayette on Friday. They were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 38-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Generals were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodland). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-6 win over Donoho. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Horseshoe Bend better keep an eye on Adam Hargett. He was instrumental in Woodland's win, rushing for 62 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 129 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Woodland didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Donoho to a completion percentage of just 48%. The last time the Bobcats' completion percentage was this high was back in August of 2024.

Horseshoe Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Woodland, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

Horseshoe Bend took their win against Woodland in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 48-28 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Generals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
