After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, West Monroe brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They came out on top against the Ouachita Parish Lions by a score of 15-11 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Monroe's record is now 8-10. As for Ouachita Parish, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.

Coming up, West Monroe will venture away from home to face off against Alexandria at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alexandria will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something West Monroe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ouachita Parish, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Ouachita Parish Lions challenge Ruston Bearcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ruston has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.35 runs per game on average), something Ouachita Parish will no doubt try to take advantage of.
