Baseball Recap: Pocahontas Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Pocahontas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Eagle Grove Eagles on Thursday. The Indians not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since June 19, 2024 (when they won 10-0).

The win got Pocahontas back to even at 1-1. As for Eagle Grove, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Pocahontas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-3 victory against South Central Calhoun on the 30th. As for Eagle Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Belmond-Klemme on the 30th.
