Baseball Recap: Newsome Takes a Loss

Newsome entered their game against Bloomingdale on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolves might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-1 to the Bulls, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Newsome saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ISAIAH SANCHEZ, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Newsome's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Bloomingdale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Newsome wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Tampa Bay Tech on the 10th. As for Bloomingdale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Sickles on the 11th.
