Soccer Recap: Northgate Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Northgate's offense. They lost 3-0 to the Arroyo Dons on Saturday. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of six yellow cards before it was all over.

This is the second loss in a row for Northgate and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Arroyo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Northgate will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Diablo at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Northgate's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Arroyo, they will head out to challenge Alameda at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Arroyo will need to watch out since Alameda have now posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.
