Volleyball Recap: Warde/Ludlowe Comes Up Short

Warde/Ludlowe came up short against the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers on Thursday and fell 3-1. Warde/Ludlowe has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 23-25, 25-10, 25-20.

Johnathan Rivera was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 11 digs.

Warde/Ludlowe's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bridgeport Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Warde/Ludlowe is set to take on their familiar foe St. Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bridgeport Central will square off against rival New Canaan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
